Huddersfield Town boss Mark Robins has revealed how his former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson predicted his future.
Robins is bringing flowing football to the Terriers this season.
"I always had a strong desire to become a manager," the 43-year-old former striker, who enjoyed successful spells at Norwich and Leicester after leaving Old Trafford, told the Daily Express. "In fact, I'll never forget when I was at United and Sir Alex said to me on the training field, 'If anyone's going to make it as a manager, then it will be you'.
"It was an off-the-cuff remark but, after I retired in May 2004, I went on to do my coaching badges and I did them religiously to try to get them spot-on."
