Bournemouth fullback Charlie Daniels will miss the start of next season.

The 32-year-old underwent surgery after his left knee during training.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's defeat to Burnley, Cherries boss Howe said: "Charlie has picked up a really bad looking injury regarding his kneecap.

"He has had an operation and will be out for some time."
