Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is convinced they can qualify for the Champions League this season.
The American insists they are better then when they finished fifth last season.
"We stuttered a bit at the start but when we play well we will have no problem," said Howard, who was outstanding in Thursday night's 2-0 win in Wolfsburg that booked Everton's place in the knockout stages of the Europa League.
"Last year we finished fifth and I think we are a stronger team now. We are not in the top four or five at the moment but we will get there.
"The purpose is top four. We'll fix our sights on that and see how we go.
"We are within touching distance if you look where we are in the Premier League.
"We are on 17 points with a couple of teams above us on 19. One weekend can change everything."
