Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has revealed how Barcelona brought him to his feet.
For Champions League glory this season, Rooney knows there is one big team standing in the way - Barcelona. They defeated United in the 2009 final and, after watching them demolish Real Madrid 5-0 recently, Rooney will not want to be seeing them before next May at Wembley.
The England hitman told The Sun: "I was watching that game in my living room and at one point I stood up clapping. Coleen came in and asked me what I was doing. I think it was the best team performance I have ever seen.
"It will be great for us if we could get to the final at Wembley. Having won it in 2008 and then lost to Barca in the final I have experienced both feelings. So it would be great to get back into the final. I am sure we would put on a better display than last time."
