Houston Dynamo president Chris Canetti says the club will explore the possibility of bringing in a quality player soon.
Recently, the Dynamo have signed Boniek Garcia from Honduran club Olimpia and Andrew Driver from Scottish outfit Heart of Midlothian and Canetti says there are plans to make a similar signing in the not too distant future.
"We have a desire to make moves and get better if we can. We're cap challenged right now and roster challenged," he said in an interview with MLSsoccer.com.
"We'll have to see what happens and what opportunities come about. We want to see if there's something that can make us better.
"The Boniek García deal with the way it was structured is something we believe in. If something along those lines presents itself and the player is what head coach Dominic Kinnear is looking for, then we're willing and able to do that."
