MLS club Houston Dynamo have forged a partnership with USL Pro side Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
The Texan outfit have formed an affiliation with the Riverhounds to become the sixth relationship of its like between the top league and third division.
"In doing our homework, we found Pittsburgh to be a very professional organization and a club that will provide the right environment for our young players to develop," Dynamo president Chris Canetti said.
"In particular, we like their ownership structure, new downtown stadium, training center and technical philosophy."
The Dynamo-Riverhounds follows the already-established partnerships between Harrisburg City Islanders and Philadelphia Union, the Orlando City Lions and Sporting Kansas City, the Richmond Kickers and DC United, and the Rochester Rhinos and New England Revolution.
