Fifa Goal of the Year runner-up Stephanie Roche has been signed by US women's football side Houston Dash. The Dublin-born player made headlines last year after becoming the first woman to be nominated for the prestigious best goal award and was beaten only by Colombia's 2014 World Cup star James Rodriguez.
The terms of the contract were not disclosed for the 25-year-old who last season was at French Ligue 1 side ASPTT Albi.
