Former Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier has hailed the quality of Alexandre Lacazette.

Houllier knows all about the striker, having worked for Lyon, and isn't surprised by rumours linking him with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

"He's top in Ligue 1, but not at international level," said Houllier.

"But he knows this.

"Eventually he may become a world class player."
