Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier has given his English youngsters his famous Steven Gerrard/Jamie Carragher speech.
During his spell at Liverpool from 1998-2004 he famously advised Carragher to avoid nightclubs, telling him he could own one once he retires if successful.
Gerrard and Carragher subsequently went on to represent both Liverpool and England with distinction.
Now the Frenchman is dispensing the same advice to Villa's English aces like Ashley Young, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Marc Albrighton and Nigel Reo-Coker.
"Football is different, the players have to live for their jobs," said Houllier. "All big players who have been at the top is because they rest, have the right diet and off the field life was for football.
"If you are 100 per cent focused in this job you have a chance - they can enjoy life after football.
"If you go out boozing and nightclubbing, you are spending your time where it is not wise. The career of a player between 20-30 years old is different from any other job.
"That's why sometimes the marriage breaks, they marry young girls and the girls want to go out and go to restaurants. But the life of a player who lives at home, he has to rest with his feet up, watch TV and watch a film or football game.
"If you love football you have to live for football for ten years at least - it will lengthen their career. You also have to be careful when you give a contract to players.
"You don't want the player to get into comfort zone - I want players who are hungry for success."
