Hoolahan and O’Neil set to return to Norwich side for vital Aston Villa clash

Norwich City boss Alex Neil has indicated he could make at least a couple of changes to his line-up for Monday's meeting with Aston Villa.

Midfielders Wes Hoolahan and Gary O'Neil both missed Saturday's 3-0 loss at Tottenham with knee and groin problems respectively but could return for the Carrow Road clash with the visiting Villans.

Neil said: "Wes was one where if I had played him against Tottenham, he wouldn't have made the next one. The next game suits him.

"Gary O'Neil was a different situation, he couldn't make the (Spurs) game as he wasn't quite ready. We had to give him an extra day's rest."

Norwich currently sit 17th on the Premier League table while Villa are languishing at the bottom following their 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Boxing Day.
