Ashley Young has stressed the importance of both winning at home and having belief in order to win the title.
The Manchester United midfielder has played a key role in the reigning champions regaining top spot on the table with seven wins in their past eight outings including 10 points from a possible 12 in their past four away games.
Young suggests that recording positive results at home doubled with the belief they can win the title will keep the Red Devils on top until season's end.
"We have managed to do that and now our home form is key.
"A lot of people might not have thought we would be in front of City but we have that belief.""We felt if we came through those tough away fixtures we would be setting ourselves up for the rest of the season," said Young.
