Arsenal is prepared to reward Rob Holding for his late season heroics by offering the Englishman a new contract.
The 21-year old, who the Gunners bought from Bolton for £2m last summer, made only nine Premier League starts this season – five of which came in May after Laurent Koscielny and Gabriel Paulista were ruled out.
After a stellar performance in the FA Cup final, The Sun reports that Arsene Wenger has seen enough to make the decision to extend Holding's contract.
