Departing Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness says he'll have input in their January plans for Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane.
Hoeness has confirmed Bayern are likely to make a new move in the New Year when Sane has recovered from knee surgery.
He will step down as president in November, but says: "I can tell everyone: I'll be on the board for the next three or four years.
"If someone needs advice, if someone needs my help, I will do that. But I will not put pressure on the new people. I will be there when you need it. If they do not need me, I will stay in the background."
