England coach Roy Hodgson plans to speak with Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand about his international future.
Ferdinand caused controversy by flying to Qatar to work for Al Jazeera TV covering England's match against San Marino.
Hodgson said: "If he is going to play in future there will have to be discussions, not least in relation to his fitness programme and his club.
"But Chris Smalling was excellent and Joleon Lescott did a good job.
"There's no interest for me discussing someone who was not there."
