England coach Roy Hodgson admits he's enjoying working with captain Wayne Rooney.
Hodgson revealed he has been amazed at just how committed the Manchester United star is to the England cause.
He said: "When I came into the job a couple of years ago, I didn't know quite what to expect. My knowledge of him was shaped by TV, radio and newspapers. I was surprised by him. He is a very different person than I thought, very driven, a very professional person.
"Since he has had the captaincy he has taken on more responsibility and to get 100 caps for your country, especially England, is some achievement.
"For me 100 caps for England is some achievement because the competition you face for your shirt in England all the time should be enormous."
