Roy Hodgson is eager to extend his contract as England national team boss.
The Mirror reports that Hodgson, 67, is eager to sign a new deal with the Football Association in order to lengthen his reign as boss of the Three Lions.
Hodgson's current contract expires next year but he wants to stay on in the role until at least the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia.
England flopped under the guidance of Hodgson at the 2014 tournament in Brazil but the ex-West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool and Fulham manager has plans to lead the nation to the next edition in a little over three years' time.
