Hodgson: Hangeland will make Fulham debut tonight

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson will hand new signing Brede Hangeland a full debut tonight at Bolton Wanderers.

"Dejan Stefanovic is suspended so Brede Hangeland will play on Tuesday night against Bolton," revealed Hodgson in his pre-match press conference. "He's done extremely well and I'm happy with him. We've announced the squad and Leon Andreasen will also be travelling with us.

"Every week working with the players at this football club is a bonus. I feel happier about the team I am putting out on the field every week but unfortunately the matches every week are diminishing.

"I think each one of these 15 games that we have left will have enormous significance whether it's a team in the same situation to us or a team like Manchester United. Week by week we are taking steps forward. I can't prove that until we start winning. I don't want to start talking about a points tally because for me, every game is so important. I don't want to start suggesting targets - for me we need to get points every time we play."
