Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson admits he's facing a new left-back dilemma.
With Paul Konchesky struggling with a hamstring injury, Daniel Agger troubled by a groin injury and Fabio Aurelio not ready to return after an achilles problem it leaves the Reds without a recognised left-back.
With 17-year-old Jack Robinson unlikely to be risked, the Liverpool manager is hoping Kelly can recover in time to take his place against Ian Holloway's side.
"Kelly has got a slight problem with his knee so that could be another left back out for us," Hodgson told LFC TV.
"I don't know how bad that is so we'll have to wait and see.
"On the positive side though Steven Gerrard will be back and we'll be raring to go on Sunday."
