HNK Rijeka have snapped up Espanyol midfielder Alex Fernandez.
Alex moves to Rijeka on-loan to the end of the season.
Álex, a Spain under-20 international and younger brother of Real Madrid defender Nacho, has found it hard to nail down a place under Sergio González and will still have two years left to run on his Espanyol contract when his loan spell ends in the summer.
He joined Espanyol from Real Madrid Castilla.
