Thomas Hitzlsperger hopes to build on his Everton debut.
The former Germany international made his Blues debut in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Sunderland as a late substitute.
He told evertontv: "Everybody was saying before the game, if I get a chance then have a shot at goal. One did fall for me but unfortunately I couldn't get it on target.
"I should have done better but there are more games to come and i will think about it carefully.
"The whole time I've been here, it is such a good place to be and I want to play more and contribute more to the Club's success.
"I was delighted to get on the pitch as I've been waiting to get a chance for a long time. I've been training with the lads for two months now and hopefully I will get more opportunities in the next few weeks."
