Hinchey to leave Derby County in good hands

Derby County commercial director Tim Hinchey feels he is leaving the club in very capable hands.

The American will return to his homeland to take up the role of chief marketing manager with MLS Cup champions Colorado Rapids in the New Year and insists he is leaving the English Championship club in the safe hands of manager Nigel Clough and CEO Tom Glick.

"The club is in great hands on the football side with Nigel Clough and his outstanding staff. The club couldn't have a better man with such integrity in charge of the team," said Hinchey.

"On the business side, Derby is very fortunate to have one of the most talented chief executive officers (Tom Glick) in the game and he is committed to the club for the long haul."
