QPR teammates are dreading the departure of Ryan Nelsen.
His defensive partner Clint Hill, 34, expressed how much the New Zealander would be missed in the battle to stay up when he leaves to coach Toronto FC at the end of February.
"He is a great man, a great leader and more importantly he is a great player. I've learnt a hell of a lot off him," said Hill.
"He's going to be a massive loss to the football club but you can understand why he is going. He has been our best player this season and for someone who came into the club not thinking he would be first choice, it's a great credit to him."
