Stuttgart goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand is facing an uncertain future following the dismissal of Valencia sports director Amedeo Carboni.
The 28-year-old German is reported to have signed a contract with Los Che and is expected to be unveiled as one of their new signings on June 30.
Carboni negotiated the deal to sign Hildebrand despite coach Quique Sanchez Flores' insistence that he does not need a new goalkeeper.
Sanchez Flores is expected to keep faith in 37-year-old Santiago Canizares, who has just signed a two-year contract extension, leaving Hildebrand - at best - as second choice at the Mestalla.
