Hibs striker Fletcher attracting Bolton interest

Hibs striker Steven Fletcher is attracting interest from Bolton Wanderers.

Fletcher has hit seven goals in 13 appearances this season, and new Trotters manager Gary Megson has reportedly placed him at the top of his wanted list, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Bolton have found the net just 11 times in 13 Premier League games - only Wigan and Derby have scored less - and six of those goals have come from France international striker Nicolas Anelka.

Megson is determined to find a sharp shooter to share the workload and believes Fletcher could prove a real bargain.

The 20-year-old, who was born in Shrewsbury but raised in Hamilton, has made over 125 appearances for Hibs since making his debut as a 17-year-old back in April 2004.
