Hibs boss John Collins has been contacted by the Scottish FA about the national team job.

The Scotsman says that Collins, currently the manager of Hibernian, has been sounded out by the SFA, and did not rule himself out of the running. Collins is believed to be interested in hearing what the SFA has to say about the vacancy, but he may need some persuading to leave his present post, which he has occupied for just over a year.
