Hibernian set to unveil Fenlon as new manager

Bohemians boss Pat Fenlon is set to be unveiled as the new manager of Hibernian tomorrow according to reports.

The 42-year old Irishman has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Edinburgh outfit and Hibs are expected to hold a press conference at some stage on Friday.

Although it is not confirmed, there is plenty of strong speculation out of Scotland that Fenlon will be the man to succeed Colin Calderwood who was sacked earlier this month, giving a full management opportunity to caretaker Billy Brown.

What will happen with Brown has not been clarified as Hibs are not prepared to make any announcement on the job until everything is tied up.

"There will be no further comment from Hibernian until we formally announce the appointment of our new first-team manager," said a Hibs spokesman.
