Hertha Berlin chief Michael Preetz wants an answer from Pierre-Michel Lasogga by tomorrow over their new contract offer.
The Germany U21 international's mother and agent spent last week in England speaking with interested clubs, including Newcastle United and Liverpool.
With a year to run on his existing deal, Preetz has made Lasogga an ultimatum.
"We want to hear how Pierre sees the world and his future. He has present an offer from us, we want to extend things early with him.
"It is now up to him to explain himself," snapped Preetz.
