New York Red Bulls' poor defensive start to the season continued on the weekend as they conceded four goals to DC United.
The 4-1 RFK Stadium loss took New York's goals against tally to 14 from seven matches, the second worst in MLS behind expansion franchise Montreal Impact, and star striker Thierry Henry is still irate at the mistakes that are being made at the back.
"No excuses, they won. And they deserved it. They were good, scored early and kept putting pressure, putting us in trouble.
"Finally, they were missing that, putting the goal in the back of the net, and they did that today. They could've scored more, so like I said, we need to work harder and see if we can [get a win] against New England.""It's been terrible defending the way we do defend, we were going to get punished and we got punished today," he said.
