Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says returning hero Thierry Henry is ready to start for the club.
The 34-year old star striker came off the bench to score the winner in the 1-0 FA Cup third round triumph over Leeds United on Monday night and although his two-month loan from New York Red Bulls was suggested to be no more than a bit of help for the Gunners, Wenger suggests he may be in the starting eleven for Sunday's trip to Swansea City.
"The way he does it, I cannot say what will happen on Sunday, but he can help us win games, coming off the bench or starting. He just wants to help the team to win games.""He's ready to start," said Wenger. "He was ready to start against Leeds [in Monday night's FA Cup tie, when he came off the bench to score the only goal], but the most important thing is to help the team win games.
And Wenger is confident that the club's all-time leading scorer can form a successful partnership with current scoring ace Robin van Persie.
"We have two winners, so it's difficult to find a balance, but they can.""They can play together, as long as the team's balanced around them," he added. "They can do it defensively and offensively.
