Thierry Henry will not make New York Red Bulls' trip to take on Vancouver Whitecaps this weekend.
The Frenchman, who scored in the midweek 2-2 draw with Colorado Rapids, has aggravated a knee injury and will not be available to travel to Canada said head coach Hans Backe.
"He's not coming with us,'' Backe told the NY Post. "I think - after I talked to him this morning - he's not as bad as the end of last year, or in the beginning of this year.
"I think we just have to manage it now, three games Saturday-Wednesday-Saturday, it's not good enough (to handle that).''
The Red Bulls currently sit at the top of the Eastern Conference table, equal on points with Philadelphia Union, whilst the Whitecaps are at the bottom of the West with just one win from 11 outings.
