Henry, Cahill prepared but cautious as NYRB get set for Montreal Impact

New York Red Bull meet Montreal Impact on Wednesday night in what is shaping as a vital clash in the MLS Eastern Conference.

The Impact were one of the form sides of the competition in the second half of 2012 and have followed that up with five wins and two draws from their first eight outings so far this season prompting caution from Red Bulls stars Thierry Henry and Tim Cahill.

"I said last year they were the best team the second part of the season, and they carried on doing what they were doing at the end of the season," said Henry.

"The problem last season was they were too far behind to come back to grab a playoff spot, but for me they were the best team. At one point they were the best team in the eastern conference and they are showing that again. It's going to be a tough game for us."

Cahill added: "I'm looking forward to the quality on the pitch…They're at the top of the table with us according to points, so it's really important.

"Overall they're going to come here and play some nice football."
