Hellas Verona chief Sogliano admits Arsenal, Liverpool target Iturbe to be sold

Hellas Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano says they're prepared to sell Juan Manuel Iturbe this summer.

Verona bought the 21-year-old from Porto with the intention of selling in the summer to make a profit, with Arsenal and Liverpool understood to be lining up moves for his services, says the Daily Express.

"We all know that Iturbe is a special player," Sogliano said.

"We cannot hide the fact he is at the centre of important negotiations.

"He is aware of what the situation is, there are possibilities that he will join a big club. Even though all the focus is on him, he is calm and aware that he could have the opportunity of his life.

"He knows that if an offer that we consider fair arrives then he will leave."
