SC Heerenveen chiefs are baffled by Cardiff City's approach for striker Alfred Finnbogason.
Heerenveen had granted Finnbogason permission to speak with Cardiff after an initial approach, but negotiations suddenly stopped yesterday.
"One person (inside Cardiff) wants him and the other does not," revealed Heerenveen director Gaston Sporre.
"It's a disappointing situation."
Heerenveen are prepared to sell Finnbogason for €10 million this week.
