Troubled club Hearts of Midlothian have sent letters to some of their fringe players giving them three options to leave Tynecastle.
The likes of Calum Elliott, Jason Thomson, Conrad Balatoni and Janos Balogh have reportedly been sent advisory notices to either leave now with their wages fully paid or to move on at the end of the season with a third alternative being assistance to help find a new home as soon as possible.
Owner Vladimir Romanov is keen to offload some players and reduce the wage bill as he goes about the sale of the Edinburgh club but FIFA could yet be called upon to overlook things just in case the Jambos have breached players' contracts, especially after making a late wage payment for October and so far failing to deposit November's salaries into players accounts.
