Following a feisty encounter on Saturday, Aberdeen are to send Hearts a bill for damage caused to the away dressing room door at Pittodrie. Aberdeen will not be making an official complaint over an incident in the tunnel, but the Scottish Football Association could take action if it is mentioned in the match report of referee Iain Brines.
"A Hearts player kicked the door and it cracked," Aberdeen spokesman Dave Macdermid said.
"We are writing to Hearts to ask them to pay for the damage caused."
He added: "There was an altercation within the tunnel area but it was quickly calmed down.
"There were players trying to throw punches.
"The referee's report will, I'm sure, contain all the relevant information."
