Heart of Midlothian boss Paulo Sergio believes the clubs off-field financial worries are affecting the performances on the pitch.
The Edinburgh outfit have lost four of their past six league outings and Sergio feels that the fact the club is to be offloaded by owner Vladimir Romanov, who was unable to pay the players in November, has contributed to some subpar showings.
"We are losing focus on our work and that is revealed in games," he told the club's official website.
"We are thinking during the week of other problems - everybody knows - and we're losing our focus, our quality, our confidence, most of all in our defensive line.
"We are creating chances, that is good - we should put them in the net.
"But we are giving chances to our opponents without them having to do too much to deserve it."
