Hearts have slapped a £4million price tag on hot prospects Christophe Berra and Lee Wallace.
The club rejected a £1.5million offer from Wolves for Berra, but Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov is refusing to talk until the Championship side meet their £2m valuation for the Scotland international.
Wallace could command a similar transfer fee with Rangers boss Walter Smith a big fan of the left-back.
