Hearfield to leave Wellington Phoenix for Central Coast

Recent reports suggest Troy Hearfield will leave Wellington Phoenix at the completion of the 2010/11 A-League season.

The 23-year old Australian right-back will return to his homeland to join Central Coast Mariners after spending the past three seasons in New Zealand.

Hearfield is out of contract after this season and it is believed he has agreed to join the Mariners next term.

The former Newcastle Jets man has made 21 starts for a total of 26 appearances this season and has played close to 70 A-League matches for the Phoenix.

It has also been suggested that Hearfield will spend some time on loan with Indonesian club Pelita Jaya once Wellington's finals campaign, which kicks off tomorrow night against Adelaide United, is over.
