Paul Mitchell has left his role as Tottenham Hotspur's Head of Recruitment.
The 34-year-old arrived at the North London club from Southampton two years ago not long after Mauricio Pochettino took the reins at White Hart Lane.
However, Mitchell has opted to leave Tottenham and is now being touted as Steve Walsh's replacement at Leicester City after the reigning champions lost their head scout to Everton.
A statement on Tottenham's official website read: "The club can confirm that Paul Mitchell, head of recruitment, will be leaving the club at a future date to be mutually agreed."
Mitchell added: "I have greatly enjoyed my time at the club and it will continue to be my sole focus until such time as I move on to new challenges."
During his time with Spurs, Mitchell helped recruit the likes of Dele Alli, Toby Alderweireld, Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen.
