Havenaar on target as Vitesse gets better of Waalwijk

Mike Havenaar was back on the scoresheet as Vitesse Arnhem came from behind to beat RKC Waalwijk 3-1 on the weekend.

The 26-year old Japanese striker broke a six-game scoring drought as Arnhem produced their first victory since January 18 to move back to third place on the Dutch Eredivisie table.

Kenny Anderson opened the scoring for Waalwijk in the 14th minute before Havenaar levelled for Vitesse five minutes into the second half with his sixth goal of the season.

Georgian striker Valeri Kazaishvili edge Vitesse ahead two minutes later for his fourth of the campaign before Chelsea loanee Christian Atsu put the visitors two goals ahead with just over 20 minutes remaining.

Vitesse replaced Feyenoord in third position with their 13th victory of the campaign while RKC dropped inot the relegation zone with their second straight defeat.
