Hasenhuttl insists Adams not leaving after double helps Southampton defeat Cambridge

Che Adams scored twice as Southampton progressed to the third round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-0 win against League One side Cambridge United.

Adams continued his hot-run of form by blasting goals on either side of half-time.

Dominic Ballard then made it three in the final minutes of the game.

Adams has been linked with an exit from St. Mary's, but manager Ralph Hasenhuttl says he's going nowhere.

Asked if he wants Adams to stay at St Mary's, Hasenhuttl told reporters: "Why not?

"He is our player. He was last season I think the second best goal scorer in our team. Why should we let him go?"
