Hartley confident of keeping Celtic place

Paul Hartley remains confident of keeping his place at Celtic under pressure from new arrivals Massimo Donati and Scott Brown.

He told Scotland on Sunday: "No alarm bells. We've signed two good players there. Two right good players. There's an even bigger battle for places now and that's fine with me. You come to a club like this and you expect a battle. Nobody gets it easy here. The amount of games Celtic play, we'll get a chance, all of us. People asked me the other week if I was disappointed not to play against Falkirk and, yeah, I was but I'm not the type of player that goes and chaps on the manager's door and complains.

"I know during the season I'll get my chances and I'll have to take them when they come. I'm thriving on that. I feel great and I think in Moscow I got back to doing the kind of things I did prior to last season. Making late runs and getting on the end of crosses and scoring goals, I know I can do it."
