Owen Hargreaves says the team spirit at Manchester United is what separates them from their Premiership rivals.
The England midfielder hopes to make his playing return for the reserves tonight.
Hargreaves told the Telegraph: "Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have good squads but what sets us apart is the spirit within the team, the camaraderie, the work ethic. Everybody works for each other.
"You have wide men who are very talented but who work within the unit. They support the full-back, they tuck in when they need to."
United reflect the hunger of their manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.
"It definitely stems from him but you don't get to Man United without hunger.
"After the [2006] World Cup, he probably heard from the other players, Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand, who saw me train for six weeks. They probably said 'he's somebody who will fit into our mould'. He knows every player in European football anyway."
