The Manchester United future of Owen Hargreaves is in doubt.
The 30-year old midfielder has made just four Premier League appearances in the last three seasons, mainly because of chronic knee injuries, and may now be on the chopping block.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said that the future of the former Bayern Munich man had yet to be decided.
"I don't know," said Fergie when quizzed on Hargreaves. "(Chief executive) David (Gill) has had a discussion (with Hargreaves).
"We have to make a decision that."
