Hargreaves admits he has one Man Utd chance left

Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has given himself just one more chance as he continues to recover from problematic knee injuries.

The 29-year old could soon make his first United start in two years but confided in a close friend, saying that if this comeback doesn't work then he may be forced to pull the pin on his career.

"Owen has done everything to come back but the pain and effort has been huge," the source told SunSport.

"He has decided to give it one last big push but if this doesn't work that will probably be it.

"The pain in his knees has not just affected his football, but normal life."

Hargreaves has struggled with tendinitis in both of his knees but after having surgery and undergoing rehab, is close to a start which may come in the Carling Cup clash with Wolves on October 26.
