Hapoel Tel Aviv and FC Shalke 04 have played out a goalless draw in their Champions League Group B clash.

It was Hapoel's first ever Champions League point as they worked hard on a lacklustre evening to hold out the German club.

The Israeli's remain bottom of Group B whilst Schalke sit second behind Lyon who lost 4-3 to Benfica.
