Dirk Kuyt is playing out his final days as a Liverpool player. The Sunday Mirror says Kuyt has a string of foreign clubs chasing him, including Roma, Fiorentina, his old club Feyenoord and Galatasaray.
But Hamburg are trying to beat all the others by offering 31-year-old Kuyt a £3million-a-year contract until 2014.
Former Tottenham and Chelsea director Frank Arnesen, now director of football at Hamburg, is busy constructing the deal.
Arnesen said: "A player like Kuyt, who is still in good shape, can add something to any team. He is a real team-player with an excellent attitude.''
