German Bundesliga side Hamburg SV were held to a 2-2 draw by Arema Cronous FC in their tour match in Indonesia on Monday.
Rafael van der Vaart scored from the penalty spot in the first half before Cristian Gonzales replied for last season's Indonesian runners-up. Jacques Zoua added a second for the Red Shorts early in the second half prior to Sunarto again levelling for Arema.
Hamburg boss Bert van Marwijk said: "We looked flat after half an hour because we'd had to come a long way (from Germany), so I can't be too unhappy."
Hamburg will now travel to Abu Dhabi to take on Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem in a midseason friendly on Saturday.
