Ex-Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann believes Thomas Tuchel may have committed an error by joining Bayern Munich.
The former Chelsea coach was hired by Bayern in an unusual move with most of the season played.
However, the Germans were still in the Champions League, German Cup, and top of the Bundesliga when they hired Tuchel.
Instead, they are now out of the two cups and second in the table to Borussia Dortmund.
Hamann told Ruhr Nachrichten: "The leadership may be confused, but the coach also makes a very confused impression in his four weeks so far.
"If he also gambles away the championship, it's clear that his position would already be weakened."
He added on Dortmund: "Now they have it in their own hands and should not give up the lead in the standings.
"I can well imagine them winning the last five games."
