The father of Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola wasn't surprised by Lionel Messi's performance for Barcelona.

Messi was superb in the 3-0 Champions League semifinal first-leg win.

"Messi is 80% of Barça. Messi is Messi and if he's in the mood, he's unstoppable. He scored a wonderful goal," stated Valentí Guardiola, Pep's father.

"I was quite relaxed during the game because I expected something like that. Barcelona aren't any old team."
